Hi, does anyone have ideas on how to get to and from Light up Night on the 18th? My husband won't get off work until later and I really want to see the fireworks. I imagine that there will be no parking available downtown. I tried to see if maybe the Gateway Clipper had a shuttle but saw nothing. How late does the T run?

thanks

There will be parkinig available, you just need to know where to look. Most people flock to the point area/Gateway Center to try and park as close as they can - doesn't work. Try parking up at the greyhound station or the huge First Avenue Garage, which are both far away from the action. There is a subway station inside the First Ave. garage where you can catch the T to Wood Street (Gateway Center station is still under construction). Walk the few blocks from Wood Street to gateway Center and the Cultural District, which is where most of the festivities will be.
