We live on the Northside, and want to get a tree to decorate on Saturday. I'd prefer to buy from a nonprofit (I always got my tree from the fire dept here in PHL), but I'm a nut and it must be up by Sunday, so I won't have a lot of time to look around. Any suggestions?

TIA, e

I'll answer my own question: we were at the Home Depot off of 79 in Ben Avon to get a bunch of fix it stuff, and bought a balsam tree; it is about 7 feet, nicely shaped, and smells terrific. It isn't dropping needles yet. $30. My preference was to buy a tree from a nonprofit since so many use their trees as fundraisers, but we'll do that next year.

I've always preferred "fake" trees. Not that it really matters to your question, I guess.

We are going to go to either Trax Farms or Soergel Farms this year
