Parkway Theater in West Park/ Stowe Township to re-open as movie theater and lounge! (McDonald: house)

The historic Parkway Theater in Stowe Township is due to re-open as a movie theater and lounge. The Open House will be during the "Christmas on Broadway" Tree-Lighting event on Dec. 10th, from 4:30pm-6:30pm. Please come out and support this landmark theater and support local businesses in the business district.

Could be a good idea. The Rocks area hasn't had a place for larger lounge acts since Mancini's on Island Ave. transformed itself into the Erotica strip club.

Mancini's hosted local as well as some national acts for a number of years.

Well, the Parkway is actually going to be a movie theater with a cafe/ lounge in front. I know that the Roxian Theater on Chartiers Ave. is currently being renovated into a mid-size concert venue.

Yep, it's right next to the McDonald's. I guess they put a new elevator and bathrooms in the building so far.
