Here are the cities that the Burgh joins.

List of The Real World seasons - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

You can say the old Steel City has changed. It is no surprise. The groundwork has been there for years. Pittsburghers will be interested in seeing this. They must also be prepared for someone not from here to claim to "hate Pittsburgh" on an episode during a token dreary day. Until Pittsburgers can understand that this city is not for everybody, just like every other great city on the list, then Pittsburgh will finally have distanced itslf from the Sienna Miller comments from a few years ago. The mere fact that Pittsburgh was picked speaks volumes.

They should film it in the summer or fall. If they do it in the winter, it will only showcase Pittsburgh as bloody hell. Dead trees, rusty bridges, grey gloomy sickening skies, brown rivers, damp everywhere.

Thank you for reaffirming to me exactly why I'm choosing to reside in the third world country of southern California from now on during the winter months. You've jogged my memory....I was beginning to get a little homesick lately. Thanks for that.

Yes and no. It's a beautiful place. People are friendly, but sometimes I have to remind myself that this is still technically America. I will never live here permanently though. California is merely my winter weather mistress for the time being.

All of the RW episodes have been filmed in the Spring/Summer time frame with them airing in late summer/fall time frame. It only make sense. I didn't say they've started filming I just said they've chosen Pittsburgh for season 27 everything is still in pre-production they'll probably spend the winter getting the house set up.

I thought that show died... or at least that's what I had hoped, along with MTV in general.
