And? People like you that make these types of claims obviously never smoked pot. Marijuana does not impact you for 8 or 12 hours like alcohol. I've been so stoned that I could barely stand up, but two hours later I felt completely clear. It only lasts a few hours at most. That is why he was cleared of the under the influence charge.

I have no sympathy for this punk Cope, who has been enabled and sheltered by his clueless parents. Lisa Styles is dead because of HIM, repeat HIM.
I hope his far too short time in prison is filled with a continuous need to look over his shoulder, and behind, especially in the shower!
Hopefully, his criminal record will prevent him from ever having any kind of worthwhile career.
Perhaps he can be a dealer, and supply some of those on this forum.

Mr. Cope is only 21, hopefully he'll be able to turn his life around and be a productive citizen.

I honestly think this is the best that could be expected, despite his history of reckless driving -- he's a good looking, rich, white "kid". Yes, it's a short sentence for mowing down and dragging a woman, and yes, the judge went out of his to structure the sentence so he wouldn't have to set foot in prison, but it's actually a lot fairer a sentence than I thought he'd get.
