KKK meeting on Sat in Westmoreland County (Pittsburgh, Kittanning: movies, area)

Wow! I just checked their site out. I had a hard time determining if I was at the kk site or the loons over at westboro baptist church's site.

It's almost comical, really, that there are people who do have these ideals in life. What makes it scary is that they take it seriously.

How do these people even function in life with all that pent up anger? What do they think when they see a black person in the store? Or what if they have to work with them? I have a black supervisor where I work, I wonder if they would quit their job id they had to work under a black man?

The press is just doing what the press is supposed to do. Sale papers or get ratings.
These klanners aren`t a whole lot different than about 20% of the people I worked with in a steel mill for 35 years,they just hide under their sheets.

For some reason I think that if a klan member came across this thread that they would be happy about all the responses. Eight pages?!?! Really?? Let them have their meeting and then they will go back into the obscurity in which they came.

Don't know if they would want to read it though. I guess we haven't heard about the KKK in so long, it made for an interesting discussion. A KKK type organization would no doubt keep declining and declining. The US is too big of a melting pot for all this stuff.

I've often wondered the same thing.

At least they're not sponsoring the litter pick up signs that say "this mile sponsored by." In Arkansas the KKK bought the rights to the very first sign you see driving into the state on I-40, so the impression is "welcome to Arkansas, sponsored by the KKK."

That's right. I believe the state of Arkansas tried to fight it and the KKK won the right to sponsor that mile in court. How would you like to see a sign like that in Pittsburgh?
