My family and I are thinking of relocating to the Pittsburgh area. We have 2 children and have decided on either Hampton Township or the Fox Chapel area (possibly Aspinwall) because of the school districts. My question is, which area/school district is considered less "uppity"? Thanks.

Hampton is less "uppity". Hampton school district is self contained meaning only the kids that live in Hampton go to Hampton schools.

Hampton is definitely less "uppity." Compared to many of the mega school systems in the North Hills, Hampton offers better environment because it's much smaller. It has great neighborhoods too. Hampton is a very nice school district, not "uppity" at all.
