I'd kill someone in front of their own momma for a Burger King in the city / Oakland.
Isn't there a BK in the Petersen Events Center and on Carson?

Yes. The one in the Petersen Events Center often has limited hours when classes aren't in session, but it is currently listed as being open from 11-7 M-F and 11-6 on weekends.

I'd stay far away from that BK, terrible service, strange customers, and really dirty. The King would not be proud.

Church's left here in the early 80's. Their chicken was very greasy. McKnight Development was their local franchisee, the same group that brought Wendy's to the city.

Church's Chicken was very similar in taste to the Roy Rogers Chicken.

Popeyes was the only place I could find decently priced Cajun food in Pittsburgh. Great red-beans-and-rice. Bummer.

If you want good fried chicken and fixings, you should try Carmi here on the Northside on Western ave. Awesome food and really nice folks.

Just an observation--it seems like any time any resturant goes out of business, it closes "for remodeling". And they remodel it into a different resturaunt.
