Ohio River Trail (land, bike, parks)

I'm sure that most people are already familiar with the existing trails on the Allegheny and Mon, and there has been several recent developments about planned routes through Hazelwood and the Strip putting the trail on both sides of those 2 aforementioned rivers. However, there never seems to be any mention of extending the trail down our third and biggest river from any local media source whatsoever.

Well, with minimal research I found that there actually is a coordinated effort by the communities lining the Ohio to build a trail connecting the city's Three Rivers Heritage trail system to the Montour trail and beyond, eventually all the way to West Virginia and hook up with trails planned there.

I personally think that bike trails are unmatched in the ROI department when it comes to cities, and I can't think of a better goal for our region than to eventually have all 3 of our rivers and the communities/parks that line them linked up with bike/pedestrian "highways".
