From the streetview Brighton Road near Termon Avenue looks like it would have a fair amount of traffic. Am I right? How's that section of Brighton Heights otherwise? Safe? Sketchy? Improving? Declining? Thanks for any info you can give me.

Is it on Brighton Road? Brighton does have a steady stream of traffic. Nothing crazy, but it is a main road.

It's definitely a safe area in a solid neighborhood. I looked at a house on Termon last year. I didn't end up liking the house too much, but if I did I would have bought it in a second.

Yes, it's on Brighton Road. It is set back from the street. Not sure if I'd like living on such a busy street.

solid & safe, but busy for that neighborhood compared to most other streets.

Not a bad location at all, since you can easily take the bus into town and there is stuff to walk to. The traffic isn't that bad - I live down the road off of Brighton, so I am thru there frequently - and I haven't seen anything sketchy.

I think I prefer a street that isn't quite so busy. But, Brighton Heights is definitely on my short list of neighborhoods.

Brighton is busy but mush less than say Braddock Avenue trhough the East End. It's particularly nice in that area of the Heights, good luck!

Also, Juliegt, if you end up looking at more houses in Brighton, you should stop at Java House on California Ave for a drink. If the couple who run that place don't make you want to live in the area, nothing will, hahaha. They're sooo nice and friendly.

Victim in Brighton Heights shooting death identified - Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

This area isn't dangerous, but this is the seedier side of Brighton Heights... I'd still go for it yet there is a fair amount of drug activity in the area, although the area is most def. considered in slow decline...
