After a deal fell through at the South Side Works, Toby Keith appears to be hitching his wagon to Continental Real Estate to build his restaurant on the North Shore near Heinz Field and Stage AE. Personally, I thought this would be a much better location for such a bar than the South Side Works.

Hipsters and trendy people rejoice! Toby Keith is comin' to town!

Well Yeee Haaa and Yippie Yye Ay. I understand that a lot of people like country music. I am not much of a country bumpkin myself. This is Pittsburgh, not Nashville. Maybe Kinny Chissney will stop by after his annnual concert at Heinz Field.

Apparently we can add Toby Keith to the list of celebrity Steeler fans too. Maybe he wanted to build a restaurant in Pittsburgh for that reason.

Although I don't personally like country, I do recognize it has fans in the area, and I don't begrudge them a few places like this.

The article also mentioned Burgatory as a possibility for the new buildings, which would be a nice addition.

I agree that the N Shore is a better location for this type of establishment over the SSW.....Toby should see it as a good thing the SSW plans fell through...

That place is great. Ive been to the one at the waterworks mall and the burgers are good and the prices aren't too bad.

I liked Burgatory the one time I went. It's packed all day on the weekend judging by that Saturday we were there, the only real bad thing. But, you can put your name on the list and they text you when the table is ready so you're not tied to waiting around for an hour. We don't go out that way very often so I've only been the once. There's a branch inside the Consol Center too, though I don't think they have all the same things, not sure.
