Where can I purchase some steamed blue crabs with Old Bay Seasoning in Pittsburgh for a rather cheap price? I used to live in Maryland and they were available everywhere and for a very decent price, but I can't seem to find anywhere that sells them in Pittsburgh.

Help

Worse case, go to Wholly's get them and make them yourself. I don't think Pittsburgh is going to hang with MD when it comes to crab.

I've never been there, but the Baltimore House in Pleasant Hills sounds like a good bet

The casino has them on certain nights (fri and sat maybe). I have also seen them at an Asian buffet before. Neither will be as good as in MD IMO.

Considering that Pittsburgh is much farther inland, it isn't likely that you are going to find them for as cheap as you would in Baltimore or coastal towns/cities. They're not likely to be as fresh, either.

Weekend trip to Baltimore, Annapolis, whatever.

Check with Penn Ave Fish Co: PENN AVENUE FISH COMPANY At very least they could probably sell you some good ones to do at home. Won't be as cheap because of transport cost farther from source.

I dunno about getting them out anywhere. I'm sure there are places that do them but they could be hit or miss and won't be so cheap.
