Greetings all-

I searched these forums to the best of my abilities to find the info but to no avail. I just moved back to Pittsburgh after being gone for four years and I am looking for affordable studio/work space to rent. I am an illustrator/designer who works almost entirely on two desks and a computer so I don't need a lot of space. It would be great to spend less than $200/month and I am open to sharing a larger space with other people doing creative (or other) work. Admittedly, I know very little about the art/design/whatever scene in Pittsburgh so any info you could offer would be super helpful

(This is the kind of work I do for reference. --> Moderator cut: link removed, please read the tos
Thanks for your help,
Rich

the beauty shoppe is an awesome resource but wouldn't really work for a painter's studio. they offer more of an office space.

Try contacting the Penn Avenue Arts Initiative. They are an excellent resource.

Is an office good enough?

Here's a 253sf office space in Shaler for $250/month including utilities: Shaler Twp Office 253sf is roughly an 18' x 14' space.
