I used to walk to school uphill then downhill 4 miles in 2 feet of snow.

Of course, Pittsburgh has the traditional 3 rivers, but we also have a couple of noteworthy lakes in the city as well.

Lake Elizabeth over on the North Side in West Park is nice and accessible, and of course you can climb down to Panther Hollow Lake over in Schenley Park which seems a lot closer to nature.
