We ate at Blue tonight, it was very good, I was impressed. Not sure it was worth the the trek up to Allison Park but it was a nice meal.

Time to celebrate your 60th then, Copanut!

I've got one for you. Rices Road House on Mt. Royal Blvd in Shaler.

The menu has meatloaf and mac and cheese, but not as one entree.

Rice's Roadhouse Menu

There's fancier stuff too.

We finally made it to Spadaforas. Not for dinner but for lunch. The food was great.

I can see why it's packed----good food and very few tables. Tiny restaurant.

I counted only 48 seats including the bar seats.

I don't recall a TV, curtis. If there is one, it's little and not on all the time.

I have never heard of it. I like the menu. Love there are "small dishes." I'll have to remember this one!

What's the best? What did you have?

What are you, one of those Pghers that never leaves his/her neighborhood?

True story. When I lived in Dormont my car broke down in the Blue parking lot. I walked over to the gas station to get a tow truck. It was a 20 something kid that was practically petrified about towing my car over to Rohrich Toyota. His words, "I've only been across the river once, and I made a vow I would never do it again."

You can't make that stuff up.

My wife and I have been to the new Jergels the last few months. Typical bar food, but the wings are very good. It's great for Steeler games. Saw Jimmy Krenn there one night, great little venue.
