They play at Wenbley Stadium where 'soccer' has been played for years. I believe the British American Football League plays some American football games there as well. I have never heard anyone refer to Wembley as a 'crappy field'.

i said football, as in american football and not futbol as in "soccer". i meant the field at that stadium was subpar for NFL/football standards.

Pretty sure they fixed the field issues a few years ago. Probably needed to do it to get NFL games. Personally, I think NFL games in London is ridiculous, but unfortunately, the entire league from the players to the rule changes, is becoming ridiculous.

What's "ridiculous" about it, the NFL is just a business trying to expand its market and sees the British Isles as fertile ground for expansion.

Soccer is bringing games here to America as well, so the competition is going in both directions, as well it should.

You think there's gonna be a London expansion team? Wouldn't bet on it.

Probably not right away, but maybe sometime in the future.

But the NFL can still make money in England in the mean time with radio and television contracts as well as the sale of licensed merchandise.

There's already NFL Europe and the EFL. Expansion to England is ridiculous and isn't happening.

It's more about garnering a fan base for the sport abroad. Chelsea didn't play a match in pittsburgh because the Premiership wanted to give us a franchise but rather they wanted to cultivate more american fans. The nfl wants some english people to part with their £'s on nfl related products same as the premiership wants our $. It's all business.
