Sounds like a paranoid schizophrenic pyromaniac.

According to police, Scholl was arrested and accused of lighting his parents’ West Homestead house on fire in October.

Scholl told detectives he thought his stepfather wanted to kill him and feed him to their pet alligator, according to the criminal complaint.

I can just imagine the cops getting all this down... "Let me get this straight for the record, you were going to be fed to an alligator. Is that correct?"

It is hard for me to think about anything except that video. I mean, this guy ran up steps and stabbed someone and just casually roamed back down to his car like it was nothing. Sick! The cyclist was so lucky not to die. I am saddened by the charges. I mean no attempted murder for stabbing someone in the neck several times? What do you need to do for that charge? Guess that isn't enough?

Interesting little description of attempted murder vs. aggravated assault, just incase anyone was wondering about the charges.

That is interesting. It's probably similar, but we should read Pennsylvania instead of Georgia.

I think he'll get charged with attempted murder. It's fairly clear he went onto that bridge with intent IMO. But most importantly, slitting another person's throat isn't something someone does accidently or simply to inflict harm. It usually results in death and the victim in this case is lucky to be alive. I'm a nobody who knows nothing about the law, but I do know I'll be very disappointed if this man isn't charged with attempted murder.
