Looking for a chinese buffet around here, not carry out. There is one really little one by Pizza Hut somewhere close by, but thats the only one I know of and its just very little. Any decent chinese buffets around here?
City Buffet in Monroeville has gotten better. It's right between Hooter's and Home Depot.
The food has gotten better (even though the shrimp is a bit questionable)
If you want a great chinese place take a drive to the waterfront. Well, it's not exactly in the Waterfront but right before it if you go through the Squirrel Hill tunnels. It's on Browns Hill Rd. It's called Hokkaido. It is SUPERB!
Chinese, Korean, Sushi, Hibachi,...everything your heart desires. Worth the little trip and worth the extra cash.
I know you're looking for buffet and not take-out, but you should really try No. 1 Chinese Kitchen on Frankstown (between Rodi and Duff Road). Quite fantastic.

In the Penn Hills Shopping Center is the Sechuan Palace. The food is OUTSTANDING! It's not a buffet, but a sit down restaurant. You can get take-out there. Everytime I go back to Penn Hills, I have lunch there. I highly recommend it.
Hokkaido is pretty good (our son in particular loves it, but we like it too, although I think it is better on weekends, particularly Sunday, even though it is more expensive).
Seriously, do they have buffets in China or did they just start that in the US since we are so fat?
In China they have American buffets.
