Not on the field, off of the field from a development standpoint. It seems like they always get things done later rather than sooner. Even then, it seems to be nothing special. Sure Stage AE is nice. It only took ten years and was originallly supposed to open along with Heinz Field in 2001. It is an ok place to see a show, but kind of looks like a warehouse to me. Heinz Field itslef is spartan inside and out. No housing, low rise offices, cheesy chains. It is hard to argue with their success on the footbball field. Even down years they put out a respectable team. It is the exact opposite on the development front. Their big projects leave a lot to be desired. Pun intended.

Yes, just not the Super Bowl of Urban development. They suck in that regard.
