yeah, i don't see what the big deal was about paying a dollar to park and walking over to the terminal. do people not want to get out of their cars or something?

I didn't realize it was that cheap.

Co-sign this. City of Bridges Cafe is a great place to wait for people.

Even better is your living room couch after having emailed them a pdf of the schedule for the 28x.

My wife fails to see the sensibility and utility of that approach.

Yeah, I never understood the whole pulling off the side of the road deal. What if some maniac loses control of their car at 80 MPH and slams into you while you are waiting? All because you wanted to save a $1? It is amazing what some people will do to save money.

I've always paid the $1 and sat inside and read a book, people watched, etc. No big deal.

Of course, you could argue if we had a better public transportation network then not so many people would need picked up, but oh well.

I'll offer to spring for a taxi if the 28X won't work--it just isn't worth dealing with tunnel traffic.

How does one get a bus from the airport to McCandless at 10PM Saturday night?

one doesn't, and that is why we would need a better public transportation system?

i mean, i don't think a better bus system could cover everyone who needs to get to and from the airport, but it could certainly cover a lot more!

Obviously, the solution is Google's automated cars (aka, really cheap taxis).
