I moved back to Greensburg (grew up here) after living in NY for several years. I'll be relocating once again in March, but in the meantime, I'd really like to meet people in the Irwin/Greensburg/Latrobe area. By people, I mostly mean smart, single men, but I'm totally down for meeting friends of all genders. (I'm a 31 year old straight woman, btw.)

The catch: I don't drink or go to bars. So the most logical, easiest meeting place is out.

I am kind of lost. I know there used to be a coffee shop/art gallery in downtown Greensburg that was kind of cool, but I don't think they are there anymore?

I tried OKCupid. No thanks.

Any ideas (aside from driving into the city) of where I might meet people? Or should I just get a library card and read a lot this winter?

Just be yourself and do what you like. Surely there are others that share your intersts.

Welcome to the deserted dating wasteland that is that is the land east of Pittsburgh. Nothing but horses, corn fields, and cougars out in these here parts. I've been on Ok Cupid for the better part of the year and so far nothing even when I did expand my search out to 50 miles. Now meetup.com is a great place to meet people for events and friends, and I highly recommend it.

Keep in mind, the younger part of Pittsburgh lives south and north of the city, so expect to travel a lot if you meet someone online as they are likely to meet there.

OUCH -- could hurt you around here.

What are some of you're interests? Do you like to exercise? That can help out tremendously on any advice-- as I am a late 20 something in that area ; that recently doesnt drink.
