I had some LOVELY FELLOW force his way in front of me at a merge point (nobody behind me, he started out neck and neck with me, another car 1.2 car lengths ahead of me in my lane), flip me off, and stand on his brakes a few seconds later before I had time to adjust my following distance.

So now I'm waiting on a second estimate from a second bodyshop to repair the front end of my car. Pretty much everything needs replaced, looking at $3k on a ten year old car. Still cheaper than buying another one by at least $3k though. Hoping the insurance investigation turns up liability on him, not me, because I don't have collision coverage.

I had a deer run into the side of my car.

PB ; had the same issue but it was a set up accident on Long Island a few years ago. She ended up suing me for $5m and she walked with 23,000. No injuries, she drove away, I was towed.

Horrible when things like that happen.

Fortunately this wasn't intentional, just two people reacting poorly at each other. We got out, exchanged information, apologized for what happened, shook hands, went home.

... I still hope his insurance has to pay for my car, though, even if it raises his rates.

Being a dick was intentional. I doubt he intended to get into an accident though, he'd have to be one hell of an actor to pull off the "OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD WHAT JUST HAPPENED" expression he had after he got out of his car.

I nearly rear-ended someone who nearly ran over a deer on Route 28 in the New Bethlehem area on my drive back to PGH last night.

He was next to me approaching a merge point and instead of backing off to merge behind me decided he had to be in front of me and pushed in in a space barely big enough for his car. Hell if I know what his problem was other than Little Man Syndrome (He couldn't have been more than 5'4")
