the Photos are Nice, Jeff Swenson is a friend of mine, and my old apartment is in the first shot, inbetween garfield artworks and Artisan Tattoo, 3erd floor with the metal facade. I moved down the street across from Salt last Jan. Personally I like this block better, but most of Penn has come along way in the last 5 years. This nieghborhod could use a new name becuase it fringes so many other neighborhoods, I used to call it west east side, since were west of the eastside developmnet. They orginaly wanted to call it the zipper, or something like that.

Amazing how much that area has changed since I lived there in the nineties. It was a pretty scary place to be then. I lived right behind the Quiet Storm when it was a nuisance bar and not a vegan coffee house. Another nuisance bar, the Horoscope was across Penn.
