I've been there a couple of times. Farm country. Greatest Christmas light show I've ever seen. It's about 45 miles from downtown Pittsburgh, although a fairly easy drive.

I grew up in West Newton, and I believe there is a Railroad St. at the lower end of town. West Newton is 25 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, not 45 miles as previously posted. It's also 16 miles from Greensburg.

I've driven through it before, it's your typical Mon Valley town, reminds me of the town in the Mothman Prophecies, although the town in that movie was Kittanning.
