For me, the biggest surprise is that there are enough zip codes that the poorest on a list of 50 is Moon/Corapolis.

I call bs on this list. 15086 is the following:

15086 ZIP Code Information Pittsburgh, PA

Warrendale is a PO that you have to pick up your mail, no delivery.

And they state 15044 is Pine-Adams Twp, which it is, but also, McCandless, West Deer, Richland, and Hampton.

They made a few mistakes in their descriptions. 15018 Buena Vista is in the Mon Valley, not the Coraopolis area. 15276 is in Robinson Township, and I don't think has any residential customers at all- it isn't East Liberty.

Or could they have meant 15206 instead of 15276? 15206 encompasses east Shadyside.

My typing in 15276 into google maps places it nearly at the corner of Baum blvd & Penn Ave

15086 serves some very high income areas in Marshall & Cranberry. Huge homes in many of the numerous subdivisions back in the wooded areas are testament to the income levels in the zip code. It also covers the area behind Thorn Hill Industrial park as well as the park itself. It sits directly between Wexford 15090 (#4) and Cranberry 16066 (#7).

I'm not the least bit surprised by this.

With only 137 addressess, it's fairly easy to be high end. Read the stats. No a true picture imho.

I am confused about #16 - Adamsburg: 15611 - Google Maps

As you can see on the map, the Zip code doesn't cover a lot of area. The biggest things there are a mobile home park, auto repair shop, and an asphalt plant. There are some other homes, but they are older. I have driven through this area many times and it wouldn't strike me to that "wealthy". Who knows, maybe there are richer people that live there and wanted a smaller house, who knows.
