Gay bingo? Do they call the numbers differently?

I'm assuming Marsha Monster Mellow and the other queens will be leading this? It's actually a really hilarious time. They do this weekly at 5801 in Shadyside.

Yes, and when you win you have to yell out "Biiinnnngooooo" in the most flamboyant voice possible, otherwise it doesn't count.

I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself. I just had this vision of Fred Schneider playing bingo and it is now stuck in my head.

They sure do, and you have to go to see how they do this. It's a fundraiser for the GLCC and it's been a hit for years. It's not just gay people who go - the pot is big so they get the older ladies who frequent the bingo circuit. It's a hoot to see all these grandmothers having a blast with all the drag queens who perform.

It's a great event. Everyone really meshes well, everyone really seems to enjoy themselves. One of my best friends hit the $1,000 jackpot on her first time going!

I don't know if people realize how big this bingo is - they routinely get between 300 and 400 people. often more than that. It's a blast.

Sounds like a good event. Bar Bingo is big in the area where I live - Rural MN. Bingo with entertainment, that's even better.
