I agree, if he can get those greedy SOB's to pay some taxes on the land that they are gobbling up I can forgive him for pretty much everything else

I agree. With how he is going after certain things in the remainder of his term, I am starting to think he could have been okay. Wish he was this strong from the get go. He is playing a little hard ball and I like it. Maybe he should continue his quests and reconsider running again.

How many of you know that the hospital in Braddock was one of the few that provided inpatient alcohol and drug treatment? The Hospital had served the community for years and was one of the last things that kept Braddock viable, well until UPMC bought it and made promises that in the long run had no intentions on keeping. Eventhough they no longer treat low income people there or provide any jobs, they still want to be tax exempt based on how many people that they hire? What about the number of people that they constantly fire that are on unemployment or had to go on welfare due to their dubious HR practices?

I read a figure that if UPMC McKeesport Hospital had to pay property taxes, it would net the city of McKeesport $594,000 a year and the McKeesport School District $1.4 million a year. Those are two entities that need all the money they can get. That $594,000 for the city could demolish a lot of vacant buildings.
