Hey I just wondered if anyone knew of areas/buildings that had infestations. Or if you had to deal with the problem yourself.
I was reading about them and reflecting on how students love to dumpster dive.They can hide in cracks of furniture,clocks etc. They can travel between units in apt buildings and it doesnt matter how clean you are. They are there for BLOOOOOD.
I guess they are making a big comeback because of less toxic pest control.
Everything I have read online seems the treatment is extreme, expensive and long.

Not just the less toxic pest control, but the multiples upon multiples of layers we now have on our beds. Duvet covers that are not washable, pillow top matresses, comforters, blankets, sheets, multitiude of pillows.... A lot of this stuff isn't washed on a regular basis -- some if it not at all. Lot so good plaes for little buggies to hide.

I heard (on the Today Show) that they are making a comeback because of the upswing in foreign travelers to the USA. The little buggers come in the suitcases etc and decide they LIKE it here!

I lived in a dump in Denver that had them. They had to come in and spray for them. I never got bit, and left shortly after that.
