They must be kind of stupid, don't you think? Because they ARE easy enough to grab.
You don't need to run. Take you time getting to the screen. They'll wait for you.

They were supposed to stay in Sharpsburg.

Please keep your car filled with those things out of our area. We can't have that sort of thing going on in the Borough. Thanks.

Thanks for the GREAT IDEA! Instead of killing them, we can start capturing and relocating them!

I've noticed that. Last night I couldn't believe it !! TWO on my ceiling! One flew at me, I wasn't too happy about that, but the other I sprayed with household cleaner, it fell and I stomped it. :-) The other one then landed on a light fixture and I sprayed that hoping I wouldn't electrocute the place, and I think it sizzled. Today I found a few on the screen and easily scooped them (in fact, they almost jumped into the half-bottle I devised) into the little bottle trap I made with soap and water at the bottom. :-) So you're right, I don't have to scuttle to get to them. :-)

And worse, the Greensburg newspaper said that customs found a HORRIBLE beetle someone did not KNOW they were bringing over -- worse than the stinkbug. Be prepared.

I am invaded as well. On Saturday I caught about 25 of them on my back deck. I have some inside my bedroom but they are getting in because I still have the air conditioner in the window. I am taking out the air conditioner this week and very few will get in after that. It has been that way for the last two years.

That's what I use too, an empty plastic bottle with a soap solution in it. I just scoop them up with a piece of paper, tissue, whatever's handy and drop them into the bottle. Once they land on something they're really easy to catch.
