Just to put in my two cents about bad/rude drivers...
I was driving home this afternoon. I was stopped in my left turn lane as the cars ahead of me waited to turn. A bus started coming toward me around a curve. It stopped and I assumed it was letting passengers off. I moved forward and it suddenly swerved into my lane. The driver started swearing and shouting at me and she gave me the middle finger! I guess she needed more room to get around the curve and I was supposed to know that, and therefore remain stopped. I drive home that way every day and have done so for three years, and this has never happened. I could not believe her unprofessional behavior.

Thought he/she was entitled, no doubt. See it every day.

But, if you're driving in the city with its narrow streets, you really to have to stay behind the "STOP HERE ON RED" lines. Too often people pull too far forward and a bus or truck can't make the turn.

This and illegally parked cars at the corner make it impossible for buses to turn from Forbes on to Murray in Squirrel Hill. I've seen it take five minutes to get around the corner when drivers don't obey the "stop here" lines.

If this is directed at me, I was pretty far back from the light--there were still about four cars ahead of me waiting to turn left!
I do agree that it is a problem when people stop in front of the white line at the intersection.

i remember driving to pitt and waiting for those crossing to cross. car behind me got grouchy and honked/yelled. since i had some time until the last group crossed, i rolled down my window and yelled back along with flippin the bird. I have been told i carry a philly attitude for someone from northern va, but man pittsburgh drivers bring out the philly sports fan out of me. If i could, id replace my horn with ludacris' "move B****".

then again that is also why i rank PA drivers in my top 4 for "get out of dc for you suck at driving". (dont worry, NJ and NY along with FL top that list).

I'm not exactly sure who Ludacris is and I'm from Nebraska, but I flip the bird back if people honk at me to move and I'm stopped for a reason. It's just common sense.

When I visited MO, I stepped out to cross on a red light and other pedestrians screamed at me "there's a red light." In our area, if I look and see that there are no cars coming, I cross on a red light. But it's common knowledge that many Pittsburghers don't know that pedestrians have the right-of-way in a crosswalk. Jaywalking is pretty much the law of the land even though it is not right. Lately there have been many accidents with joggers and bicycle riders, many resulting in death. I think if Pgh wants to allow joggers and bicycles on our roads they should have bicycle lanes. Many other big cities do. I am not allowed to ride my quad up the street because it's not licensed, and neither are the bicycles.

Did you know that if you jaywalk in Las Vegas the driver is not held responsible if they hit you? Some of them actually will aim for you because of that.

Well, while I certainly do NOT advocate for "aiming" for pedestrians as that's incredible irrational, deviant, and psychotic behavior I DO advocate for pedestrians being held more accountable for jaywalking. Why SHOULD a driver be culpable if someone illegally crosses the street out of nowhere between vehicles, for example?

That's incorrect. By state law, the bicycles are legal on city streets. Joggers, not so much.
