Yeah, you all know what i'm talking about.

Ok, MAYBE not... the annual Kenny Chesney concert which was yesterday.

All the garbage/trash from this lovely event...
Kenny Chesney 2013 | The Morning Freak Show - 96.1 Kiss

"Final numbers aren't out yet but WPXI says 150 people were treated by paramedics, 30 people taken to the hospital, 5 people arrested and 40 people were cited for underage drinking BEFORE the concert. The PG is saying 43 were cited."

It isn't just the redneck type crowd it attracts... but pretty much every young person too. Every drunken sloot and bro. It's basically just like a big party, and I don't know how I feel about it. I'm young and understand people wanting to go to this since it involves hanging out with friends, seeing people you know, and getting trashed which can be real fun when you're young... but at the cost of what?

Sounds like the festivities were pretty mild compared to ZZ Top and Aerosmith at 3 Rivers, that I was in attendance for.

ZZ Top-Aerosmith concert at Three Rivers Stadium was one crazy day - Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Who would have guessed? Country music fans are wild drunken pigs.

And you're alive to tell us that. Congratulations. That article was one of the best reads I have had in awhile.

Thing is, I know a lot of people that went that couldn't name one Kenny Chesney song. They go just for the tailgate.

Something about Kenny that drives in the wildest bunch of the year in Pittsburgh though.

That's a fun party on the north shore that brings in thousands to the city. Sad to have missed it this year

I believe it. My son was invited by a friend who dresses like a gangster. He declined because he likes almost every type of music except for country. I was being sarcastic since country music performers and fans are typically known for being a socially conservative group.

...a scantily-clad socially conservative group! Lots of girls in midriffs and bikinis and lots of shirtless guys. I might just go next year to see how many numbers I can get! LOL!
