there goes your plan to move to NC, they're raising their income tax to 5.8%. you will have to find another way to avoid being destroyed by Pittsburgh, crushing everything in its way as it collapses in on itself.

Hey zman. What's up with your Emerald City of Cleveland? Not looking so hot here in the numbers department.

I just did.

By the way, Philadelphia needs to pick it up. I wonder why Pittsburgh is growing jobs at a decent clip but Philadelphia is not.

cuyahoga county has hemorrhaged population in the last decade. i think prior to the official recession manufacturing jobs were being lost up there.

lets not gloat. cleveland is our cousin...and i guarantee you there are people in charlotte talking about how great things were just 15 years ago!

Yeah, no gloating intended. I grew up in NE Ohio and I'm rooting for Cleveland, but zman is kidding himself when he rambles on and on about how they're doing so great. They have far more serious roadblocks to revitalization than PGH does.

But, but...there's a palpable feeling of change in Cleveland! And East 4th Street is better than anything in Pittsburgh nightlife!

I can't be the judge of that, but I'll give them this: The Flats was definitely better than the Strip District back when those were the places to be.

Cleveland can talk to me about their nightlife as soon as they have a club booking great deejays on the regular that I can walk out of at 730 in the morning.
