Old Virginia Manor is in the Lincoln School District. This area are the English cottage-type houses on Parker, Arden, and Morrison.

"New" Virginia Manor (called just Virginia Manor) is in the Jefferson school district. They are the streets of Osage, Valley View, and Elm Spring.

Of the 7 elementary schools, four are named for presidents (Lincoln, Washington, Jefferson, Hoover,) two are named for musicians (Foster, Howe,) and one is named for a poet (Markham.)

Jamestown and King's Grant are in Scott Township, which sends children to the Keystone Oaks school district.

There are no high crime areas. There are some high traffic areas.

Snobby people are everywhere, even on City-data.com.

There is nothing bad going on in Mt. Lebanon, except for the typical mild drug use by teenagers and typical suburban teenage bull****.

I knew someone who lived on one of the most expensive streets there。
One home was raided as an drug house !
Another had people sleeping in their cars while parked in the driveway.
People from Wilkinsburg stalk and rob homes. ESP in sunset hills.
It's not what you think it is, it's no better than other areas you may think are less desirable.
Children been caught using heroin in the park.
Don't believe me? Google news reports.
No where is uptopia.

DRUG USE IS EVERYWHERE. The main concern is the education. If your kid wants drugs they will get them. You don't have to be from Glassport to find a meth lab, but lebo is obviously safer than other areas. Look at the amount of police patrols! Chill out.
