Yes, the authorities are involved (for my friend, not me). However, it would be great to assist in their investigation by providing another person who may have had the same thing happen to them. It's obviously difficult to prove if you are the person who took a few sips of your ONE drink (at a private residence with only two people there) and passed out til morning.

The perpetrator has only been in the area for a few months and doesn't have prior convictions. He sounds like a sociopath and likely to do it again given some other things I've heard.
