can someone tell me what these bugs are?

apparently my windo blinds are like sticky pads to these wasps/hornets/whatever. they can sure find their way in from somewhere in the window, but those blinds keep them between the window and blind.

only reason I found some dead in my trash can was because I left the blind up

ok folks today was the tipping point. I saw over 15 dead of them and called my maintenece and said I was deathly allergic to these "bees". surely enough, they came out and spryed the nest of the bees. what kind? im going with hornets. the last few who got sprayed are dieing in my kitchen as we speak so hopefully they don't reappear.

I know who to blame and its those below me. they always dump soda outside which attracts bees. I figure they enjoyed it to the point to make a nest inside the ventilation and thus they got sprayed down.
