He needed a schtick, so he rode the conservative gravy train for a while. He was let go because, like any capitalistic corporation, the company can make more money without him. Pure and simple. I thought I read that he continued to work there for another bunch of years after that lady sued him, so I don't think that's why b94 let him go.

Admittedly I don't actually know much about the guy apart from what I've seen in the recent news.

I listened to Quinn from the beginning of his political phase, from his very 1st day on WRRK. Before that I heard his banter on KQV in the early 70's when he was pushing pimple cream.

At first I thought he was just parodying the conservative viewpoint, it really took Rose to give him "cred"- my initial gut reaction was that he was just seeking a reaction and stirring the pot.

I remember him in the late 1960's on KQV pushing bubble gum music.
