For posterity - a pic of clear sunny blue sky at Pittsburgh airport this morning. It seems it lasted all day ...

And as I know pghdude28 can't enjoy blue sky in Pittsburgh, here's a pic from Denver airport today to warm his heart. It was in fact about 55F. See dude, I think of your mental welfare

See what tomorrow brings. Forecast posted by A_T_C on page 10 of this thread calls for 'flurries'. It predicted 'partly cloudy' today. Wunderground has 'Sunshine and clouds mixed. High 31F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph.' for tomorrow.

I don't mind the snow, but damn if the guys who run this complex to salt or plow anything in my lot. it got to the point where I bought a big bag of salt to drop at the small incline to get to the main road to prevent cars from sliding due to ice, into the busy road.

Just checked web cams, and looks like another sparkling, cold sunny Pittsburgh winter day. That's 6 'pghdude28 statistical outlier' sunny days from 13 for December so far.

Enjoy the sun, and looks like those of you who enjoy snow will get some of that tomorrow.

How much snow are we supposed to get tomorrow? It seems like every county in PA is under a Winter Storm Watch except for us!

2-4 inches per the NWS.

Which means we'll actually get one, maybe two inches.

Thanks! What a bummer! It seems like the rest of the state is getting 4-8 inches, or at least 3-6 inches. Once again it looks like we'll be in line for a lot of sleet mixing in, which will depress our total accumulations.

The NWS must read City-Data. They just issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Allegheny County:

PA Weather Alert - weather.com

3-5 inches of snow, falling heaviest between late-morning on Saturday and during the afternoon.

It's still starting out as a worse-than-average Winter though, seems to me . . .

Meh. A winter with a lot of pipsqueak snow storms like this isn't bad at all. After tomorrow there's nothing significant in the forecast through Christmas.
