Here's a map of the ones in town, but there are certainly a lot of others as well.

Tours: Downtown Pedestrian Tunnels, Skywalks and Bridges - Bridges and Tunnels of Allegheny County and Pittsburgh, PA

I was told there is one with an entrance in the basement of the Carnegie Institute connecting with certain university buildings, there is also one in Oakland connecting WPIC with Presby.

Also, I've never traveled it, but the one underneath the Bigelow at Herron looks interesting.

It used to be that you could get from WPIC to Montefiore without going outside(combination of tunnel and bridges), but I don't think the public can access the WPIC tunnel anymore.

PS what a neat site!

Cool!

Other pedestrian tunnels I can think of are the one under the busway at Pennwood and Whitney and the one under Bigelow at Bigelow and Herron.

Of course, nobody does underground like Montreal. They have seveal of these underground shopping malls that are also connected with a subway stop and often a few high rise apartment buildings. And don't think shopping mall like just clothes-- these have liquor and grocery stores, so you can get all the essentials without ever going outside!

South Korea, too, has massive shopping malls underground, which often connect to apartment complexes, shopping malls, even amusement parks. In some places it's possible to walk from one end of downtown to the other underground. I'd love to have that here, especially when crossing aboveground is treacherous or congested.

!
There used to be one underneath what is now the West Busway at the end of East Crafton Ave, back in the day when there was a railroad going through Crafton.

But they closed it up and put a crosswalk when they built the busway. Of course they still have both the railroad and busway out on the East Busway in Wilkinsburg

There are tunnels connecting the County Office Building, the City-County Building and the Grant Building. If you get wanded in the Grant Building you can head to the City-County Building not sure if you can get to the County Office Building anymore.

There is no tunnel connecting the Museum and Library to any university buildings. There is a tunnel however connecting the museums to the Bellefield Boiler plant but it hasn't been used in many years and may no longer be in service at all.

very cool. is it too late to discuss a sub-surface thoroughfare for pedestrians downtown? say, from the boulevard of the allies to market square?

arlington, VA and toronto also have rather nice and expansive underground shopping/transit things. i can go crazy envisioning something like that here.
