Old Fart Alert!!!

First concert I ever went to was Herb Alpert and the Tijuannia(Sp) Brass. What can I say, was never a big fan of the Beatles, Stones, or Led Zep. It was great!

Got my first kiss that night, yes, it was a girl! WooHoo!!!

1985/87/89 Dead shows at the Igloo, camping aht in the parking lots, and the stellar music from the Dead. Possibly topped by the 90 Dead show at Three Rivers Stadium (remembering the hot air balloon that rose over the stadium during Row Jimmy and the crowd went nuts and unfortunately no Brent Mydland tunes, he would pass away a few weeks after this show...or the '95 shows at Three Rivers w/local group Rusted Root tearing it up to open, to all the pouring dahn rain and the rain songs from the Dead, to the massive overflow of people who rushed over the stands on to the floor (I was in that flood of people), those are my favorite Pittsburgh concert memories. Oh, and the Born in the USA Springsteen show at Three Rivers, Aug '85 or being front row, a few feet from Springsteen when he performed at a rally at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall in 2012.
