I would imagine that he did some due diligence before buying the business. I would be very surprised if he wasn't aware of problems. Doubt there will ever be any admission of guilt.

hooray.


WTAE reported this morning that the water in Charleston WV was declared safe to consume recently by the CDC. That may be so, but I have friends on facebook who teach at elementary schools around that area that are posting about how their students are getting sick or fainting, and the liquorice smell of the MCHM is still quite noticeable. The county is still keeping certain schools closed as a result.

Apparently Forrest filed papers with the secretary of state for the company that Freedom bought the tanks from in 2011, so he's owned them for at least a few years.
