How is parking in Dormont T station for commuters? I have been debating taking the T to work and am wondering how scares a parking spot is. I can also go to Mt. Lebanon, but heard there are only a few free spots??

Thanks

If coming from Bridgeville, I'd suggest a shorter drive to Carnegie, Idlewood, or Crafton park and ride and taking the G2 into town via the west busway. I take it into town every day. Trip in is 15 minutes from Idlewood to USX. Return trip is only 30 minutes or so (given the detour on Carson). Buses are mainly the articulated (double) ones and it's usually easy to find a seat.

Very little parking at the Dormont stop, and you will get ticketed parking on the street. There is a parking garage near the Lebo spot, probably a better option.

Yeah, Dormont's parking enforcement is the one efficient aspect of the borough government.

Yeah, that and giving fines to landlords if their sidewalks aren't cleared. Never mind my stinkin' neighbor next door that never did, jagoff, ah, don't get me started. That's why I moved to McCandless, no sidewalks.
