Exactly! I'm originally from the Bay Area and reasonably priced direct flights are hard to find. I've figured out the best connecting flight options on Southwest's schedule and make do. With the increase in tech companies here I'm hoping to see more direct flights to SFO and San Jose.

Delta Airlines will be adding PIT - Salt Lake City (SLC). They ran this route about 5 years ago and pulled the plug after about a year. Between this and the new Alaska Airlines flight to SEA it will be nice to have a couple more options for my commute to ANC

Insider info they'll announce this week I'm guessing? Don't see any articles about it from the Post Gazette.

Wow, cool! Pretty surprised actually we were able to get a non-stop to SLC. Great to see many of the non low cost carriers get in on the adding flights in the last couple years.
