Looks to be going across from the Toys R' Us, to be completed in mid-2016.

Extend the T to the vicinity of Ross Park Mall and this apartment complex, and watch Ross Township sprout a downtown.

Light Rail to Ross is a no-brainer. With the north shore ext in place, they're good to go.

It needs to have been done yesterday.

I can't for the life of me figure out where there's room for this across from Toys R Us. Doesn't look like there's an empty four acres. Isn't this the area with the low-rise office complexes?

I was wondering where the space was coming from, as well. I thought RPM and McKnight were pretty dense and full, as it is. I'm surprised they would give up this prime space near the mall for housing. I would have thought it would be used for mall expansion (think King of Prussia for the Pittsburgh metro) or for more retail and restaurants along McKnight.

If it's where I think it is (near the McKnight East complex), road access isn't all that great. You either have to exit McKnight Road northbound onto a winding two-lane, or turn left southbound from McKnight into the mall entrance, then make another right and left going up the hill towards the mall. That area is congested during the best of times.
