Hi,
i'm from Indonesia, and an admit student at CMU this fall 2014. I will be coming with my wife and two daughters age 4y8m and 1y7m by this July.
I'm planning to find a place in squirrel hill since it's the most recommended neighborhood people been telling me.
Now I need to find a
kindergarten school for my oldest daughter, problem is that she will be age 5 on late October, which I understand does not meet the requirement for kindergarten public schools.
any recommendations of decent Kindergarten(s) that accept kids that will be 5 years old on late October and by any chance close in squirrel hill / CMU area?
I've noticed one possible school,
the CMU Children School, but I'm looking for other options, especially with lower rates.

Private schools are pricey. To reduce the cost you will have to look at Catholic Schools. Look at Sacred Heart or St. Bedes in Point Breeze. Also, not sure if they have spots available. I have no idea if they will admit a young child though. It could be hard to find a school.
