Yes, I did check it several times, but there is no message there (Unread=0, Total=0". I guess something is wrong with my inbox.

Post one more time. I think "10" is the magic number when it comes to sending and receiving PMs on DL, and as I write this, you have 9.

The prices are based on the liens that are on the properties.

Weird. I checked my sent messages folder and neither message was showing. They were there yesterday. I am trying one more time.

It will be much, much cheaper if you find a wrecked shell of a house and due a gut and rebuild. Just having a solid foundation alone and the utility hookups saves a great deal off of construction costs, to say nothing about four solid walls. Of course, investors have been picking off and rehabbing run down/abandoned houses in East Liberty for a decade, so your pickings may be slim.

This is crap, there's tons of nice housing in Swissvale (basically pittsburgh) or maybe Greenfield or Carrick in safe areas at that pricerange.

How is it crap? The question was about building and selling, not buying preexisting.

I think the cheapest way to build a house would be modular. There are companies that offer urban modular homes.

turn down the slayer and reread the thread. they don't want to buy an existing house. they want to build new.

you can get a great house for under 250k in pittsburgh, but it is hard to build something brand new for less than that price.
