Well perhaps if you weren't "flaming" so much it wouldn't have happened! (Sorry, I just couldn't resist the punch line!) In all seriousness though, is everything okay? Anyone injured? Any property damage?
LOL. Hilarious.

Or was your building on fire b/c you are so HOT?
But this is what ACTUALLY happened.

No, seriously, it sucked. I live at Chatham, it was on the news a few days ago and everything. A few cars were on fire in the parking garage. I was just worried my binder for Duquesne was going to be burned up. That would have been SO bad.

I'm not going to comment on that one because I think he's already afraid I'm watching him through his balcony window.

AWESOME!!!! I have a great story to tell you, I am SO excited.

So apparently city-data.com has been giving out $2250 dollars worth of overstock.com gift cards to semi-random (whatever that means) active members to commemorate the exceeding of 10,000 posts per day.

Well I was selected and got a $50 gift card to overstock.com and thought, oh geeze, I'll probably never use the damn thing!

WELL... I was wrong!!

I just got a refurbished X-Box 360 Premium Console System (originally $499.95) for 285.95 (due the item having been opened and returned) and then I got the 50 bucks off which made it $235.95 and shipping and handling was only $2.95 so my grand total came to $238.90!!

WOAH! That's over 50% off for a game console!! For those of you who aren't game-privvy, those kind of deals don't exist!!

I am sooo happy!

BTW, I buy almost all my PC and console things refurbished and have never once had a problem. Most people simply open the box and change their mind and send it back, but then it can't be re-sold as new and they have to heavily discount it. That's the way to go, I'm telling you.

That is a good deal. Gamespot has the lowest model for X-Box 360 for $199.99 though (refurbished). This latest generation of consoles has become outrageously expensive, and personally, I don't think the games have gotten better--I think they've gotten worse. At any rate, I'm happy for you.

The $199.99 refurbished is for the core console, not premium console. They have different SKU's.

Guys, I am removing the sticky from this thread. You post here frequent enough it should never leave the 1st page and be easy to find. Since we have a 1 sticky per forum rule, I think sticking the "Burgh Info/Newcomer Guide:" thread will be better.
Yac.

I've heard rumors that Taco Loco has moved to yet another location on the South Side. Its website still says Jane St., so I can't find any other confirmation other than from a guy at work. Does anyone know?
