I know that but my question is if you had to pick one city, than who would it be?

That would be make the question too easy as everyone would pretty much have the same answer if I only did one sport.

Not necessarily, in fact the only one in agreement would be Baltimore for football (though even there, some Cleveland rivalry still remains, if its its a bit pathetic of one). Baseball it could be Cincinnati, St Louis, some latent Atlanta hate still around; Hockey will pull lots of support for either Washington or Philadelphia.

No city is a universal rival to Pittsburgh, and any city that is a possible rival in one sport is completely off the radar for the others.

While we have several teams in several sports this city loves its football best of all. You an get away with not being a Pirates or pens fan but don't dare let anyone know you root against the Steelers. The Steelers Rivalry with Cleveland is about as authentically Pittsburgh as fries on a salad and slaw on a hoagie. They might not be an actual threat but I would still say that this would be the answer to the OP's question.

Right now its has to be Baltimore because they own the title. Cleveland I don't feel the same rivalry since the reincarnation of the Browns, the old Browns yes, which just happen to be Baltimore now as well.

Hockey, the Pens biggest rivalry is themselves.

Bucs ..... Bucs still feel like an Eastern Division team..... Much more of Fan Fare when Mets, Phillies, Nats come to town as opposed to the Cubs, Reds, Brewers.

The Ravens are public enemy #1, followed closely by the Flyers. The only other teams that really matter are the following:

Rangers
Caps
Bengals
Browns

The Bucs really have never had a serious long term rival. The Phillies and Reds were short term rivalries in the 70's, while the Mets/Pirates thing really was hot from 88 to about 92. There's been a little heat with the Brewers lately, but Milwaukee is too far away to be a geographic rival.

The Steelers/Ravens rivalry is great because it's both geographic, and highly competitive. As great as the Steelers/Browns rivalry was, the Steelers have played more big games vs the Ravens in the last 14 years, than they have vs the Browns since 1950. It's as if the old rivalries against Cleveland, and Oakland have been rolled into one. Big games all the time, plus geographic as well.
