I'm moving to Pittsburgh in August and have to say, this looks wonderful. I'm from Fort Worth and our football practices were not cancelled until the heat index reached 112F! I welcome the next two summers with open arms. I may freeze to death this winter though, wish me luck. (We only average 2 inches of snow per year)

Welcome Fort Worth! Summers can be hot and humid with cooler breaks, so I'm sure you'll be fine. Winters will be much colder and snowier than you're used to, but we're a hardy people. You might even enjoy snow skiing, ice skating, snow men, and trying to catch snow flakes on your tongue. Winters can also be cozy, as you curl up by the fireplace with a good book and a cup of cocoa.

Welcome! Our summers are some of the mildest in the country. The only other cities that have weaker summers are western cities like San Fran, Seattle, and Portland. Heck, even Minneapolis is warmer than us in the summer. Our winters are bad compared to Texas, but still not overly awful.
