exactly, slow down save a life, and stop blaming pedestrians for you running them over.

Hey, genius. Almost every mva vs pedestrian I have attended has been with the pedestrian hit while on the sidewalk/shoulder/off the road. Bikes are different. Those tend to be hit on the roadway.

Yep another SUV about running someone over on a nice sunny Saturday. Look at that dent. You should be in control of your vehicle/weapon at all times and be ready for anything ahead of you. Speed limits are too high in our city and people need to slow down. Luckily no one was killed this time, but soon enough someone will be killed, just like every year.

Assuming I'm speeding and running someone over is your first mistake. Your second is blaming everybody in a vehicle. When everybody, including pedestrians pays attention and follows the rules, there will be less accidents.

Interesting. Please post those reports. Hard to believe almost every accident takes place off the road.

You keep saying this, but you fail to acknowledge that the RULE is that bikes are supposed to be ridden on the road, not the sidewalk. And the RULE says you have to respect them like you would any other vehicle on the road. Like you said, of we all did a better job of following the rules, there would be less accidents.

I keep saying this because its what needs to be done. However, complaining about drivers is easier.

So ride the bikes on the road if thats where theyre supposed to be ridden. Stay off to the side where they're supposed to be and I'm sure there will be less of a problem.

Yep, jay, said that before. Again, all one has to do is pay attention. Seems to be a tough thing for people to do.
