CFP - yes, hopefully they get to that point before cold weather comes. Luckily most of the needed work is interior.

I was told the Ace will create about 100 jobs once it is open. Not counting construction.

Other businesses that have opened in East Lib in the last few months or made announcements to open:

Banker Supply Co - bike parts and accessories - Banker Supply Co.

Trim - Men's underwear shop - Trim | Pittsburgh | Designer underwear, swimwear, sockwear, and tee shirts in Pittsburgh, PA.

Casa Rasta - opening second location where Abay was - Home Page

Brew Pub opening on Broad - Broad Street Brew Pub in the Works | Discover East Liberty - Work, Live, Shop, Play in East Liberty, Pittsburgh, PA

There are a bunch of other things in the works.

Otherwise, the very specific extreme effort to be negative about only a single issue is baffling.
I'm simply asking the question - when are the developers planning to protect the building from another potentially brutal winter by replacing the windows they removed?

They recently closed on a loan that was at least 23 Million and have 7 existing hotels in 3 different countries with hundreds of employees, including a design team. I'm sure they know what they are doing more than a critic on a random message board does.

Since I married an architect, I learned that essentially every construction project everywhere gets behind schedule. Financing always gets delayed, and contractors never keep to the initial schedule.

i understand that. i also know that if you have ANY doubts about your financing or schedule you don't remove all the windows of a six story building after one of the most brutal winters in recent memory unless you are absolutely certain they can be replaced before the next winter

this is not a personal agenda - it's common sense

"random" is being generous. C-D is more of a peanut gallery. I'm pretty sure the ACE people know what they're doing. They're the hottest hotel brand out there.
